A medal group of three awarded to William James Hawkes, an Auxiliary Fireman during the WW2 London Blitz. 

WW2 Defence Medal unnamed as issued 
EIIR Fire Brigade Exemplary Long Service Medal named to William J. Hawkes
EIIR Civil Defence Medal unnamed as issued 

The first two medals are swing mounted for wear with the Civil Defence medal mounted separately as it was issued.

Comes with original box of issue for his Defence Medal. 

William James Hawkes was born on 17th January 1913 and was from Bexley Heath, Kent.
