A first world war memorial plaque for Lieutenant Commander Stewart Chichester Magrath, HMS Pekin, Royal Naval Reserve, who sadly took his own life in July 1918.

Died – 4th June 1918
The plaque is in good condition and comes in a lovely fitted box from Goldsmith’s Jewellers.
Lieutenant Commander Magrath sadly took his own life on the 4th July 1918. The casualty record stating the cause of death ‘Died from excessive bleeding from a bullet wound. Self inflicted whilst in a state of unsound mind.’
The plaque comes with research.
