A first world war BWM to 25615 Private James Price, 11th Bn Durham Light Infantry.
British War Medal named to 25615 Pte. J. Price. Durh. L.I.
James Price originally enlisted 24th August 1914. However, he was charged with desertion as he was absent from 3/9/15 to 26/11/15. He was sentenced to 84 days detention and his prior service was forfeited.
He was then posted back to France on 6/4/16 but was admitted to hospital on the 9/7/16 after being wounded (gun shot wound to left calf).

The medal is in good condition.
