A first world war casualty 1914 Mons Star medal awarded to 7194 Rifleman John William West, King’s Royal Rifle Corps. 

1914 Mons Star named to 7194 Pte. J.W. West. 2 / K.R. Rif. C. 

Died of Wounds – 23rd October 1914 (Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial) 

John William West was born and resided in Hull. He enlisted in Beverley, Yorkshire. 

The medal is in good condition.
