Killed In Action – 6th April 1916 (Siege of Kut), Basra Memorial.
John Ross first entered France on 12/10/14 with the 1st Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders. His Battalion then moved to Mesopotamia in December 1915, where it took part in the Siege of Kut.
Comes with original transmittal documents and two small photographs of Ross, as well as some research.
The medals are in good condition with ribbons.
