Edward VII Long Service & Good Conduct Medal named to 19753 Mechnt: St: Sjt: J.H. Burridge. R.E.
George V Meritorious Service Medal named to 57123 C.S.Mjr: H.J. Burridge. 102 / F. Coy. R.E.
The medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear. Please note that there is a mistake with his initials on his LS&GC and on his service number on the MSM. His index card for the MSM also incorrectly shows his number as 57123.

Henry John Burridge originally served with the Royal Engineers from April 1885. He was discharged in 1906 having served at home and in Ceylon. He rejoined with the outbreak of the first world war and first went to France in August 1915. He was later awarded the MSM (L.G. 1/1/17).
The group comes with his original accounts book and other original documents as well as copy service records and research.
