Able Seaman Whiley was captured and taken prisoner of war by the Japanese on 17/03/1942. He died on 26/06/1944 and is listed as ‘Missing on board ship’.
The group comes with original box of issue, condolence slip and research.
The medals are in good condition with ribbons. The Burma clasp is loose.
