Also entitled to a silver war badge. Discharged due to wounds.
Lees served with the 18th (Service) Bn (3rd City Pals), ‘B’ Company, Platoon No. VII. He lived in Manchester. He was commissioned 29.01.1918.
Comes with copy research which includes London Gazette entry from 09.12.1919 stating that ‘Temp. 2nd. Lt. J.C. Lees relinquishes his commission on account of ill-health caused by wounds, 10 Dec. 1919, and retains the rank of 2nd Lt.’
The medals are in good condition with ribbons.
