Died of Wounds – 12th June 1916 (Ste. Marie Cemetery, Le Havre)
Arthur Dames Blacker was born in Darfield, Yorkshire in October 1879. He employed as a Miner at the Cortonwood Colliery before enlisting into the 2nd Barnsley Pals on 03/05/15. His papers show he received a gun shot wound to his legs on 07/06/16.
