WW1 ‘Siberian Expedition’ Mentioned in Despatches OBE (Military), British War, Victory and Territorial Force War Medal Group of Four with Interesting Photo Album – Capt. W.D. Price, 9th (Cyclist) Bn. Hampshire Regiment

A superb first world war Siberian Expedition OBE and MID medal group to Captain Walter Dennis Price, 9th (Cyclist) Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. 

Order of the British Empire, O.B.E. (Military) hallmarked for London 1919 
British War Medal named to Capt. W.D. Price. 
WW1 Victory Medal (with MID oak leaf emblem) named to Capt. W.D. Price. 
Territorial Force War Medal named to Lieut. W.D. Price. Hamps. R.

OBE – 3rd June 1919
MID – 14th January 1920 (Russia)

Walter Price was born in 1895 in Bournemouth and was educated at Abingdon. He was mobilised with the special service section of the Territorial Force, July 1914. Price served throughout the war in England and India before entering Siberia on 28/11/18. 

With the groups is a very interesting photo album with numerous photos of his time in India and Siberia. There are approximately 350 photographs in total. 

The OBE comes in the original box of issue and is mounted for wear. The BWM, VM and TFWM are swing mounted for wear together.
