Volume 1 and 2 of hardback books detailing the history of the (British) Army Medical Department from 1600 to 1898, when the R.A.M.C. was formed.

Written by Lt. Gen. Sir Neil Cantile (Late Director General of the Army Medical Service). Published in 1974  Volume 1 contains 519 pages including index and Volume 2 contains 448. In good condition with dust jackets.
